About us

Nestled in the Ingwehumbe Nature Reserve, Eston 4x4 Valley Adventures, is a magical, off the grid facility, for families looking for a quiet get away, or for individuals wanting to test the capabilities of their 4x4's on our exclusive tracks.


There are a variety of camp sites to choose from., some right next to the river, some in lush gardens and some hidden within the valley itself. Ranging from smaller sites for the Roof Toppers to large sites for the Tenting and Off-Road Camper community.

There is no electricity, no fresh drinking water and no signal, the perfect place to be one with nature.


Day visitors (a small fee involved) wanting to use the 4x4 tracks are also very welcome.


Unfortunately, no pets, motorbikes or quad bikes allowed.

    By far, the most relaxed campsite and the best vibes on and off the trails. The boma is a place where strangers meet, and leave as part of the Eston family. Whether you’re an experienced 4x4 driver or a complete novice, there is something for everyone. The farm dogs will take care of your kids while you play in the best 4x4 park in KZN. Pull in and play.

    My top ever spot. It's a bit of a drive to get there, but that's part of the whole 4x4 trip. The 4x4 course is excellent.

    The people are super friendly. The campsites are clean and well equipped with bins and braais.

    The lounge area is Awsome with a Large fire pit. The bathrooms are super clean and more than enough are available.

    What a gem. Ticks all the boxes for a 4X4 adventure for the whole family. Camping sites are beautiful and lots of entertainment for the children. The ablution facilities are outstanding. No electricity but ample solar lights. The whole camp runs on solar lights and hot water by wood generated donkey water system. It is a nice place for special wedding celebrations or parties. The only hiccup is that at the camp there are no cell phone coverage, but some people prefer it that way.  There are different 4X4 routes to do and a beautiful river flowing steadily through the camp sites. Definitely a place to go see

    We stayed two nights at the campsite. The campsites are very well looked after. The ablutions are very well done and new. It was our first experience with 4x4 and the owner guided us through the obstacles. Overall a lovely experience! Also saw a fish eagle, half-collard kingfishers and loads more.

    By far the beat Offroad and camping facility in the area, short drive from Durban and PMB, it offers trails to suit stock 4x2 bakkies and modified 4x4's. The camping is exquisite, with donkey boilers to heat the water in their pristine ablutions. 10/10 recommend.

    Absolutely excellent spot to enjoy off grid camping and some moderate to challenging 4x4 trails, water is available at most campsite and the ablutions are always kept clean and tidy!
